I have a bike! And while it's not a gold cruiser with white walls and black accents, it still deserves to be loved and painted and scrubbed and told that it's pretty. And, it was free! Hooray!
So, of course the first thing any bike of mine needs is a basket (I'll be taking it to school), and not just any cuz Mama's gotta ride in style.
Inspired by these images taken by the whimsical and amazing Cherry Blossom Girl...
... I found myself some equally whimsical baskets...First pink, but of course! Only pastel blue telephones and lollipops are allowed to go in this one.
Then this Nantucket-y looking rear-mounting one, perfect for a white terrier and bouquet of daisies...
Then this amazing crochet-like basket from Design House Stockholm. I'll pick it up on my next visit to Sweden. :P
And of course, everyone needs a basket like this for hauling tennis balls and pot brownies in while you cruise around town in your Adidas tracksuit.

another fun thing to put on the back of the bike are wooden fruit boxes.
good basket finds! i've been biking up a storm lately..spring and bikes just go together nicely i think : )
